Hello, my name is Mike. I am an amateur writer. Very! Here's a bit about me and how this site came to be: Long ago, in this galaxy (so not very far away), in my late teens/early twenties, I wrote a fantasy novel. As most teens tend to be due to pure innocence (or lack of life experience), I assumed it was brilliant. It was not. Anyway, life and twenty-five or so years happened, and the story was lost to time and a 3-1/2-inch floppy disk (ask your parents what that is). The story, however, was always in my mind. I would often think about the characters and how the story would end. This brings us to the Covid years. I had a bit of extra time on my hands, so after buying a special drive to read the disk (my new-age computer lacked the proper drive), I went to work on doing an edit., and then another (it can never be good enough). Along the way, I took an Introduction to Fantasy Writing class and worked on a short story or two. I hope to continue to grow as a writer and someday get that novel (book one of a trilogy) published. This site and its stories are from a very amateur, non-English major writer trying to find his footing. I hope you enjoy them. If not, try not to be too hard with the criticisms (LoL). Also, I am not a web page builder, so this site will also be a work in progress; please be patient with it (I am trying to).
