For fun, if people like, I may do a 24-hour challenge in which users can give me a scenario and some stipulations, as I did with the Baraksus story. I will pick one (if I have some free time and don't think the topic is out there or offensive) and take 24 hours to create a short story based on that criteria. Something you find cool or challenging.
For example, the Baraksus story came from the scenario of someone accused of something they did not do. It had to have a commoner, a noble, a clergyman, and a non-human. I will write about 1500-2000 words on that kind of topic. It is wild to see the various different things that can come from just that brief guideline. After I finish mine, maybe other users can take a crack at it. This is a fun writing exercise.

Book one is done, as far as I can tell. (Someday, a professional editor may help improve it for actual publication.) I am currently working on book two and am about one-third of the way done with it. So far I really like where it is going!

I will not be charging a fee for the site or the short stories. As for the novel, the prologue and the first three chapters will be free as well. Eventually, there will be an option to pay a nominal fee to unlock the next 22 chapters. I will use the funds to help pay for and grow this site and my future writing. I may add a donation button if anyone wants to contribute to the future writer in me. Does anyone know any independently wealthy people who want to buy a writer? LOL.
